About Members' Forums (formerly STACs)
FDCA members' forums (formerly STACs) exist across the nation and provide FDCA Directors with feedback about family day care issues.
Members' forums are attended by interested FDCA members who represent different sectors of the family day care community: parents, carers, coordination unit staff and sponsors/operators.
This consultation process assists FDCA in providing advice, lobbying and representation on a national level. It’s critical to the successful way in which FDCA represents the family day care community.
Members' forums are generally also the platform from which FDCA Directors are elected, with candidates nominated by members' forums each year prior to the AGM.
Members' Forum Meetings
Members' forums meet at least four times a year to consider and discuss both local and national family day care issues. Members' forum meetings may be face to face, by teleconference, or a mixture of both.

If you are passionate about family day care and the role it plays in supporting the families of Australia and are a current financial member*, take the opportunity to have your say about the issues that may affect this quality childcare service by attending the next members' forum meeting in your State or Territory. Some members' forums offer a teleconference facility so you can participate from anywhere in the State.
